At the OUE Skyspace atop the US Bank Tower, AirDD splashed the 69th floor observation deck with Hi-Light designs for Artopia, L.A. Weekly‘s annual local artist celebration in DTLA on November 5th.
The stunning night view was transformed in the reflections of AirDD’S lit shapes. AirDD’s standing illuminated designs created a “selfie garden” in the sky against the panoramic backdrop of LA. AirDD also flanked the bottom floor lobby with tusk shapes, creating an even more glitzy appeal to the already shining gold and white mural in the lobby.

The cones were an elegant closure, averting the view of a dull service road. Together with faux grass and outdoor furnishings by Roche Bobois, AirDD’s cones created a feel of a chic garden lounge, fit for mingling of all the whose and whose in the Los Angeles Design Scene and creating the perfect lighting for the most stylish of crowds.

This past week in DTLA, the “Fashion on Fourth” show benefiting City of Hope showed stunning Fancy Swimwear and Fancy Caps from Fancyswimwear.co by Liz Luque, with AirDD Inflatables providing the scenery!
Since this was an outdoor fashion show on the deck of the new luxury high rise LEVEL, there was no natural place from which the models could come out. Functional and stylish, the AirDD Standing Inflatables actually became the entire backdrop for the fashion show, creating a chic, contemporary set and giving the models both a backstage and a dramatic entrance. Liz added some splashes of pink light and threw beach balls for a fun, summery touch.
Although the fashion show is over, you can still donate to City of Hope #25to5. Visit CityofHope.org to support this wonderful organization, and be sure to pick up some Fancy Swimwear and a Fancy Cap at fancyswimwear.co/new-products
Additionally, please consider donating to Liz’s GoFundMe drive to help bring Fancy Caps to cancer patients losing their hair from treatment.
From Liz: “My goal is to raise enough money to create hundreds of Fancy Caps to pass out to Cancer Hospitals. Every penny donated will go straight to the production of the caps that will be given out to the patients by me and my friend Stephanie who is battling cancer, and other cancer survivors.”
